Ok. Let’s be honest.
I’ve gained about 15 to 20 pounds in the last year. It’s not my proudest moment but I’m writing to keep myself on track, accounted for, and hopefully you can help me with some of the motivation. I’ve heard the excuse of when people are happy they instantly gain weight. Meaning, fat & happy can’t be that bad. But the truth is no one wants to be uncomfortable in their clothes, cover their tummy, or be the party pooper to only eat salads. But there has to be a balance. I used to love running but it became the only thing I knew how to do & I got sick of it. I’ve used every excuse in the book not to do it regularly.
1. I live in two places.
2. I love food & a good drink.
3. We need to eat in more & at the table.
4. Not enough time.
Blah, blah, blah. It doesn’t matter. It’s time to get up. Put down the chips, cheese, & soda & run the extra mile.
Recently, I’ve seen pictures & people have confronted me about my weight. I know it is because they want me to be happy & healthy but sometimes the truth hurts. At the moment I didn’t understand and felt offended but appreciated their push. For everyone I’ve told… please help me stay on track. So far this week I’ve completed 10 miles on my feet. Thanks for listening. Much love.

Also, looking forward to doing another trail run October 17th – sign up by September 30th!
