Why does being home alone scare the crap out of me?

I’ve watched way too many horror films.

I think from the moment I pull into my driveway to going to sleep at night of when & where someone could get me. Before I climbed onto my parents bed to write & watch tv I checked to make sure no one was under it along with the shower, closet & other bedrooms. I am home alone tonight & tomorrow watching Lucy as my parents are on the Erie canal. For the other nights we have a dog sitter & I’ll be in & out throughout the rest of the week. But until then, I will hope Lucy has my back. Since she is inconsistent with her barking if anyone wants to have a sleepover it would be greatly appreciated.
