I’ve watched the Bachelor/Bachelorette for many seasons. Obviously, missing some but my hopeless-romantic self thought it could really work. This particular season my mom & I would sit together and watch every Monday night. As last night’s final rose ceremony ended, I couldn’t be happier. Melissa looked gorgeous. She was happy, natural and completely herself. Then, ‘After the Final Rose’ a break-up and a reunion, I felt disgusted. I couldn’t believe this all could happen in such a short amount of time. But honestly, who couldn’t fall in love with bottomless wine glasses, gorgeous scenery, and the desire to feel loved? I am starting to hate the show and the fact that I thought these contestants really knew each other, especially enough to get engaged & to become a mother. It’s unbelievable this man (in his thirties) brought his child into this drama of a tv show - The Bachelor. For him, I’m sorry but this is the most ridiculous tv show. I guess for all of these reasons I’ll still watch ‘Part 2 – After the Final Rose’ tonight.
On a littler note, I had a wonderful weekend with some of my greatest friends & promise to write more later in regards to Laser tag. On Monday, I worked a half day & then went sledding with Mark & his two sisters.
Tonight, Mark & I are going to dinner with Jen & Jay… & hopefully shopping for some outrageous things to bring to Orlando this weekend for Steph’s bachelorette party.
Much love.
