Lately

Since it’s been a while I will do my best to catch you up on my life…

Last week at work (like many other weeks) I felt very up and down. I was overwhelmed & as I may always be in this career. I believe I’m always in the hole. This could stem from many aspects of my job (amount of clients, calls, concerns, etc). Although, my biggest concern is how often I take my work home. Whether, emotionally or actual tasks to be completed. On Thursday night, I was a mess after I left home. I couldn’t stop thinking about this, that or the other thing to be done at work. I felt crazy. After a long shower and time spent talking with Mark I was finally able to let go. It was late in the evening but Mark’s sister, Grace was having her 10th birthday party the next night so we had to finish our piñata. This was a blessing to get my mind off of everything… Mark had to finish it on Friday but it looked amazing. See below.

This weekend I went to Florida with some of my best friends (from high school) for Steph’s bachelorette party. It was fun, crazy & relaxing. Some of the highlights: being late coming & going to the airport, falling in a water fountain, dancing, seeing Steph & my girls, 80 degree weather, getting glass out of my foot & going to bed after 4am(both nights). I will post pictures soon.

Tomorrow starts a new week & who knows what to expect. While I was headed to Florida our trailer was delivered (as our department is being relocated due to an autism school); therefore, we may be moving this week which will create some craziness. I do promise (to myself & others) I am going to start working on separating my lives from work and home.
As for my weekend coming up, I’m headed to Scranton for the annual St. Patty’s Day parade mess. It’s always wonderful to have something to always look forward to…
