Where the hell did June go?

A long time friend got married, birthdays & anniversaries were celebrated, the XTU concert came & went, I found out a best friend is expecting & started my vacation with my college girls in Sea Isle City, NJ.

Stephy’s wedding was absolutely beautiful. She made a gorgeous bride & I will never forget Jordan’s face as Steph walked up the aisle. He looked like the luckiest man on this earth. I’m so thankful I was able to share this day with Steph & Jordan as well as my friends. I couldn’t believe I was nervous to see friends I hadn’t seen in years because it was seamless. We stayed up until 3am, finishing a bottle of captain & laughing at each other & together. It was just like old times. It was the perfect weekend. Congratulations to Steph & Jordan on their future together.

There is something funny about getting older. Birthdays. Not always shared by opening presents but sending a card, baking a cake or simply having a date with a friend. I have truly enjoyed celebrating June birthday’s as simple & sweet. Just a little hello on your special day should be warm enough to make you smile.

The last weekend of June, Mark & I celebrated Sherry & Matt’s wedding! It was fun & another night to see love at its fullest. My three favorite things about their wedding day: were their first dance, cutting Mark’s hair in the hotel parking lot & eating at Friday’s with Linds, Paul & Mark. Last but not least, my vacation started on Sunday, June 28th in Sea Isle City, NJ. This was the vacation I thought I would be disastrous as I once was but after all it was relaxing & wonderful to spend time with my girls, my mom & Mark. I got to get away. I didn’t call anyone. I didn’t care about work. I am ready to plan another one for next year.

I’ve got more coming for July. Saddle up.
