Touching base.

If you know me at all, you know I have a lot to write about but of course, this is the first to go. So I've let it. I was actually feeling guilty about it so here I am.

Random things to discuss:
  • Mark & I moved to Gilbertsville, exactly one month ago from today. We are getting used to the daily chores, to-do lists, & each other in this house, we now call home. It has been truly amazing. We have many things to be thankful for...
  • I was in the grocery store yesterday & there is actually a food called, pork shoulder butt. It was $5 & I thought, someone would have to pay me to eat something with that name & probably more than $5.
  • Heidi & Brian are coming along in the adoption process - they ran 18 miles this weekend! & less than 50 days to the marathon! I'm truly proud, inspired, & happy for them & their journey. http://www.run2ourbaby.com/
  • I made tortilla soup tonight & it was awesome. Really easy too. I also made undone stuffed peppers for another night. Yesterday, I made Mark some coconut chocolate jumbles, which were so delicious.
  • I am leaving Foundations. My last day will be October 15th. I have truly appreciated the experience I've received but it is time to see something else. I am so excited for my new job. The commute to the city may be crazy but this is the time to find out what I really want to do when I'm young & dumb.
  • I really love 'Everything' by Michael Buble pandora station. It plays, John Mayer, Michael Buble, Colbie Calliat, Norah Jones, etc. Just nice easy listening.
  • I want to start looking for some art or wall pieces for our walls. Any suggestions?
  • Halloween is coming. I was thinking of being Lindsay Lohan. ha.
  • It is hard to believe we will be getting married in 68 days. ahhhhh. My mom has really done so much for us. We couldn't be having a wedding day without her. She's the best planner & organizer.
  • Oh my goodness, I had my bridal shower & it was the most beautiful day I could have ever asked for. I'm almost done my thank you cards but I can't say it enough, my friends & family are so amazing. It is crazy how much love surrounds me.

Ok - that's it for now.

Peace, love & happiness.
