When Mark and I first started dating I told him my favorite flowers. Not just one, but all four: Gerber daisies, sunflowers, tulips & roses. While I was walking out of his house this morning I saw a few red tulips spurting out of his front wall. For weeks he has mentioned the daffodils never bloomed. Therefore, I thought I might have been dreaming, considering it was 5:45 in the morning. As I put my bags on the passenger seat & put the key in the ignition there was a note on my dashboard in red writing. It said, ‘Did you see the tulips?’ It went on to say he bought the biggest bag possible from the local nursery & planted them in the fall. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to start a rainy Monday…
