The sunshine is smiling

The sun is finally shinning. After a few days of rain this week I couldn’t be happier with this weather. When the sun is out I always think of my mom. She has always called me her sunshine. I am not exactly sure how I got this name but it has always been our thing! We would sing the song & I got a small tattoo of a sun on the right side of my hip but I don’t think she appreciated that. Sunshine & whatever you may be called – enjoy it!

Since the last blog, I’ve been enjoying a wonderful balance between work & play. We’ve gone golfing with Lindsay & Paul but ended up at Old Navy. & since my parents aren’t home they all came over last night to run & had a cook out. It was nice to enjoy a random Thursday night together. Lindsay’s internship finishes up next Thursday, April 23rd so we might have to celebrate. Spring & summer bring out much more spontaneity.

Mark & I also went to the opening game of the Phillies – in 40 degree weather. We drank & ate snacks before going in but it was definitely the coldest game I’ve ever attended.

Also, we’ve been starting to look at rings. I can’t show you which one I love but he knows… and it’s gorgeous.

My play by play of the weekend:
Today I’m leaving work at 4pm because I’ve been limitedly productive. So, Jen & I are going to enjoy outside seating, drinks & maybe some shopping in New Hope. Then, we are going to Rice’s tomorrow with the dogs & Marlo is coming. I hoping to go bike riding on Sunday with Mark. Next Friday, we are going to the aquarium.

Again, I need to apologize for the lag time between blogs. Each day seems to bring a to-do list or an adventure with friends and family. I promise I’ll get better about writing but I’ve been enjoying the ‘moment’. I am also up for any ideas for my future blogging.

Much love.
